Hello!
I am a graduate student researcher at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology advised by Professor Deb Roy. My research interests are at the intersection of natural language processing and human-centered AI. Recent works include exploring truth alignment in large language models and developing socially aware models.
Previously, I was an Applied Scientist at Microsoft, where I worked in the areas of multilingual content understanding in News, and my research focused on interactive grounded language understanding for agents in a collaborative environment. I was a co-organizer for the NeurIPS 2021 and 2022 competition (IGLU). I obtained my master’s from University of California, Berkeley where my research delved into ML-driven methods to develop strategies for natural disaster risk reduction advised by Professor Ken Goldberg and Professor Brandie Nonnecke, and explainable Machine Learning in public policy advised by Professor David Bamman.
